Beansprout is sold fresh by the kilogram, crisp sprouted mung beans. Its crisp texture is a familiar addition to char kway teow and laksa.
- Stir-fry quickly with garlic and soy sauce for a simple side
- Add to noodle soups, fried noodles or salad rolls
- Rinse well and trim any tails if a neater look is preferred
- Refrigerate in a bag and use within a couple of days for crispness
