Brussels Sprout is a 250g pack of small, tightly packed heads from the cabbage family with a slightly nutty flavour once cooked. Choose heads that feel heavy and firm, with no dark spots on the florets.

• Roast halved with olive oil until caramelised
• Shred raw into slaws for added crunch
• Pan-fry with bacon or nuts for a warm side
• Refrigerate unwashed and use within a week, trimming just before cooking
